Founder & Head Trainer

Craig is the founder of It’s Paw Choice Dog Training and works with dog owners across Teesside to solve real-life behaviour challenges.

His approach is calm, structured, and reward-based — focusing on clear communication, practical training, and helping owners build long-term success with their dogs.

Gordon Barnes

Group Class Assistant

Gordon is a welcome addition to the It’s Paw Choice Dog Training team and supports our group puppy classes.

A retired sniffer dog handler, Gordon brings valuable experience and a calm presence to sessions. Despite enjoying retirement, his love for dogs led him to want to stay involved and support owners and puppies during classes.

Group Class & 1-2-1 Dog Training Assistant 

Scarlett joined It’s Paw Choice Dog Training after working with Craig to reduce her dog Reggie’s reactivity, where her natural handling skills and passion for dogs quickly stood out.

Her calm approach and commitment to training made her a natural fit for the team, supporting both group classes and 1-2-1 training sessions.
